从进校园的第一天，老师就教我们一首古诗：“锄和日当午，汗滴和下土，谁只盘中餐，粒粒皆辛苦”的诗句，从此我便知道了粮食的来之不易，我们要节约粮食。因为我们从小就明白了一个道理，农民伯伯一年到头在田里干活，流了许多汗水，才浇灌出我们离不开的粮食。他们多么辛苦，我们怎么能不珍惜粮食呢？

走进学校，如果仔细去注意的话，不难发现学校的泔水桶里每天都堆得满满的，有剩菜、剩饭还有整个馒头，每一个来到它跟前的人，都会用一个极潇洒的姿势，赋予那白白的馒头一道优美的弧线。虽然我们生在农村，长在农村，粮食是自家带来的，不需要花钱去买，但是我们也不必这么浪费它，这也是我们的父母头顶烈日，脚踩热土，花费心血种出来的。如果这一切让父母看到，他们又会怎么想，除了痛惜之外，还有什么呢？。
